This paper describes the isolation, identification and bioactivity of several substances related to diseases for which there is an urgent need for new medicines. In the case of Leishmaniasis, a mixture of two synthetic molecules inspired in highly cytotoxic steroids and several triterpenes. For the case of the hipoglycemic, three triterpenes were identified from eucalyptus leaves and were actives in vitro and in an animal model of DMT2. Finally, three drugs were inducers of virulence in K. pneumonia, and using a non-biocidal approach, several molecules were able to control this virulence were also detected.
